John Calipari going to Kentucky

After spending nine successful seasons with Memphis John Calipari has accepted Kentucky's coaching job. Espn reported yesterday that coach Calipari has accepted an eight year $31.65 million dollar contract. The deal makes him the highest paid college basketball coach. Kentucky has finally got their high profiled coach they have been hungry for since Tubby Smith left.
However the deal has made Memphis fans sad. Many fans are unsure about where the program will go, and many star players are leaving the team to go to the NBA. The much hyped recruiting class has also said they will no longer attend Memphis, and are now looking at other schools.
